Position Start Date: Academic Year 2025-2026; Candidates will commence work in August 2025.

Pay Rate: $21.00 - $25.00, based on experience and education.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 2:10 PM - 6:00 PM.

Your Role in Driving Our Mission:

  • Safety & Joy: Serve as a role model, ensuring that safety and joy standards are upheld. Maintain effective operational procedures, including keeping site documents and licensing standards current. You will foster teamwork through continual coaching and support.
  • Safety Assurance: Report on safety protocols to guarantee every participant's well-being, including submitting necessary documentation.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High School diploma or GED is required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality service.
  • Completed High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience working with children and understanding diverse needs.
  • Coursework or training in child development or a related field.
  • Well-developed communication skills (oral, written, visual).
  • Capacity to model professionalism when interacting with students, parents, staff, and the community.
  • Familiarity with Google technology or a willingness to learn.

New York State Requirements:

  • Meet state-specific criteria.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR (in-person).
  • Pass a tuberculosis test.
  • Associate's degree in child development, education, or a related field AND 2 years of experience with children under 13, including 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • OR
  • Children's Program Administrator Credential AND 2 years experience as mentioned above.
  • OR
  • School Age Child Care Credential AND 2 years experience as mentioned above.
  • OR
  • 2 years of college, with 18 credits in related areas, and 2 years experience as mentioned above.
