Program Coordinator Opportunity

At Right At School, we deliver engaging before and after school programs in local school districts, focusing on creative learning and enrichment activities that promote student success! Our mission is to inspire a love for learning, support educational institutions, and provide peace of mind for families by creating safe and engaging environments for children to explore and develop.

Location: Tahoma School District;

Program Coordinator Pay Rate: $24-26/hr (dependent on education and experience)

Your Role Will Involve:

  • Fostering Safety and Joy: Serve as a role model to ensure safety and happiness standards are maintained. Keep program documents updated and facilitate staff understanding of their responsibilities. Implement protocols for attendance, behavior, and safety, ensuring all program tasks are executed efficiently. Foster a positive team environment through coaching and respectful relationship building.
  • Ensuring Safety Assurance: Proactively uphold and report safety protocols to guarantee the well-being of all participants and mitigate any risks in the program setting.
  • Promoting Effective Communication: Actively engage with families, partners, peers, and children to foster strong relationships. Respond promptly to communications during program hours to maintain transparency and trust. Collaborate with your Area Manager to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Managing Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate student attendance records and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Implementing Daily Activities: Plan and execute daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.

Ideal Candidates Will Possess:

  • Experience managing competing priorities while delivering exceptional service.
  • At least 12 college credits in courses at the 100 level or higher.
  • Experience working with children, especially those with unique or special needs.
  • Coursework or training in child development or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills with both adults and children, including oral, written, and visual practices.
  • Ability to model professional standards in interactions with students, parents, staff, and the community.
  • Familiarity with Google technology software, or a willingness to learn.

Washington Requirements:

  • Meet state-specific requirements.
  • In-person certification in First Aid and CPR.
  • Clear tuberculosis test.
  • Proof of MMR vaccination.
  • Food Handlers Card.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • At least 12 college credits in courses at the 100 level or higher.
  • Clear background check with fingerprinting.
