What You Will Do:
The Part Time Patient Access Coordinator will deliver exceptional registration services, ensuring a welcoming environment for all patients and their families.
Create a positive experience for each patient, family member, visitor, or staff while performing the tasks of pre-admitting, admitting, and/or registering, routing, or escorting.
Your primary role will be to assist patients and their families in navigating services, acting as their advocate until they are handed off to clinical staff.
This is a Part Time position, requiring 24 hours or more per week.
Shift: 8 hour shifts ONSITE at Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, CA, with rotating weekends & holidays
What You Will Need:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
0-2 years of relevant experience in a medical/clinical/dental/hospital setting or customer service environment.
What Would Be Great to Have:
One (1) year of patient access experience
Experience in data entry
Familiarity with health plans/insurance
Bilingual in English and Spanish
The annual salary range for this position is $38,000.00-$63,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a variety of factors, including skill sets, experience, training, security clearances, licensure, certifications, and other organizational needs.
