Part-Time Packaging Operator Plant Overview Located in Delmar, NY We produce residential housing insulation, about 300 million pounds annually and service the entire Northeast Region. We are a union plant, partnering with United Steel Workers. Schedule 29 Hours Per Week (flexible) Preferred: 3 Days a week: two (2) 10-Hour Shiftsand one (1) 9- Hour Shift Day Shift: 7 AM-5 PM Night Shift: 7 PM-5 AM Pay Straight rate: $22.85 Environment It is a manufacturing environment, non-climate controlled. The time is spent on your feet, moving around. Employees are provided with all PPE as well as a voucher for steel toes. Primary Job: Works mostly in the repack area of the plant. The employee is responsible for overall safety, housekeeping, and assistance in manufacturing for the area. Employee will take the material in the area and inspect it for a paper barrier.
