Parks And Recreation Administrative Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists with promoting and updating information on the department's social media and website
- Assists with graphic and creative design (print, online, and non-traditional), advertisements, and other marketing material
- Develops, implements, and manages a content calendar
- Writes press releases for department programs and events
- Maintain a close working relationship with all divisions within the department
- Provides general support during departmental events
- Must be able to work both in person and remotely
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be able to work in person and remotely
- Any combination of education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Some related experience with marketing and media relations. Must have experience in graphic design. Photography/videography skills preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Must have Child and Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
