Position: Learning Facilitator

Right At School is excited to offer after and before school programs that thrive on engaging activities and enrichment opportunities designed to support and inspire all students. Our mission revolves around cultivating a love for learning, providing exceptional support to schools, and delivering peace of mind to families.

We are seeking passionate individuals ready to make a difference in the lives of children, ensuring they have a safe and fun environment to explore and grow.

Please note, this role will commence in the 2025-2026 academic school year, with work starting in August 2025.

Compensation: $16.00-$18.00 per hour (based on education and experience)

Program Hours: Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 2:35 PM to 6:00 PM (Hours may vary based on assigned location)

Your Role:

• Collaborative Meetings: Participate in daily program meetings to review goals, share insights, and encourage teamwork.
• Activity Coordination: Organize and facilitate daily activities, ensuring they align with our educational objectives and are enjoyable for all ages.
• Leading by Example: Create and maintain a safe, nurturing environment, utilizing effective classroom management techniques.
• Safety First: Monitor the environment to ensure safety protocols are followed and keep documentation of attendance and incidents as necessary.
• Effective Communication: Engage with children, parents, staff, and school personnel to ensure open lines of communication.

Ideal Candidates Will Possess:

• Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
• A collaborative spirit and familiarity with working in a team environment.
• At least one year of experience working with children under 13 years of age (preferred).
• The ability to lift 25 pounds.
• A passion for instilling a love for learning and promoting healthy lifestyles.
• Flexibility to support additional programming as needed.
• Experience with students who have special and unique needs is a plus!

New Jersey State Requirements Include:

• Ability to meet state-specific regulations.
• First Aid and CPR certification (in-person).
• Cleared tuberculosis test.
• Proof of MMR vaccination.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proof of high school diploma/GED is required.
