Compensation: $17.00-$20.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and education)

Schedule: Monday-Friday After School: 2:25 PM - 6:00 PM

Your Role Will Involve:

• Preparing materials for lessons and activities, along with documenting attendance and significant events.
• Delivering our vibrant daily curriculum to engage students in enriching academic and social experiences that extend their learning beyond the classroom.
• Modeling positive behavior and effective classroom management to ensure a safe and attentive environment, while assisting with homework and guiding fun recreational activities.
• Communicating effectively with diverse audiences, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
• Maintaining regular meetings with the Program Manager to discuss professional development and team engagement.

Ideal Candidates Should Possess:

• Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
• A collaborative spirit and ability to work well in a team setting.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with children aged 5-13 in a formal childcare environment.
• Preferred: College credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, or a related field.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Capacity to lift 40 lbs.
• A passion for inspiring a love of learning and a commitment to healthy living.
• Ability to meet state-specific requirements (CPR certification, Mandated Reporter training, TB test, etc.).
