Part Time Instructor of Human Development & Family Science - OHIO University : Job Details

These are adjunct positions that report to the Chair of the Department of Social and Public Health. The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching up to two courses for the Child Life Specialist Clinical Concentration within Human Development and Family Science (HDFS) on the Athens campus. This is an in-person position. The classes include an undergraduate course, Fundamentals of Child Life and Pediatric Healthcare (HDFS 2100, Fall and Spring Semesters), an undergraduate/graduate course, Foundations and Theory in Child Life Practice (HDFS 4280/6280, fall semester), and an undergraduate/graduate course Children and Families in Healthcare Settings (HDFS 4760/5760, Spring Semester). This position could be filled by one person who covers all classes fall and spring, or two people with one teaching the class that repeats fall and spring, and the second teaching the spring undergraduate/graduate class.
