Posting Details Position Information Title Part Time Groundskeeper Full or Part Time Part Time Number of Months 12 Months Proposed Date of Employment 07/28/2025 Work Schedule Work schedule is flexible up to 28 hours per week Permanent or Temporary Permanent Salary Band Commensurate with experience Position Summary Information Position Summary The part time Groundskeeper position is responsible for keeping grounds in order for the campus through daily operations and performing general maintenance duties as needed. Responsibilities

• Cut lawns using push and riding mowers. Use weed eater, edger and trimmer around walks, flower beds, and walls and guardrails. Prune shrubbery and trees and remove dead and/or damaged limbs. Use tractor and forklift on grounds when needed
• Spray lawns, shrubs and trees with fertilizer, herbicides, and insecticides. Water lawn and grounds when needed
• Clean grounds and remove litter using rake, broom or spiked stick. Repair fences, walks, gates, etc.
• Clean out drains and ditches where needed. Sharpen tools and blades and do minor repairs on mowers and equipment when needed
• Pick up and deliver supplies, material, equipment and mail as needed
• Assist custodians when necessary
• Set up tables, chairs, stage, bleachers, etc. for programs.
• Move equipment off campus as needed
• Perform other activities and responsibilities as assigned.

• Ability to learn safe operation of grounds keeping equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
