Pay may vary depending on credits pertaining to online, graduate, music, or lab courses.Job Summary:The Philosophy and Religious Studies Department at Marist College invites applications for part-time faculty for the 2023-2024 academic year. We have immediate teaching opportunities for our Introduction to Philosophy course, and ongoing needs for qualified instructors in the following areas: Ethics, Introduction to Religion, Religion in America, and World Religions.Minimum Qualifications:A Master's Degree in Philosophy, Religious Studies or a closely related field is required. Doctorate of ABD preferred. Previous successful collegiate teaching experience needed.Essential Functions:Successful candidates may teach three to nine semester credit hours each semester. Teaching may occur during both the fall and spring semesters.
