The College of Business at Clayton State University seeks applicants for adjunct teaching positions. The successful applicant will teach courses at the undergraduate (and if approved, graduate) level. An earned Master's Degree or Doctoral degree in Management, Marketing, Business Law, Supply Chain, Accounting, Economics, Finance or related business field from an accredited graduate program is required. The position reports to the respective discipline Department Chair and will begin on January 2, 2025.

The College of Business offers undergraduate degrees in Management, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, General Business, and Accounting. The college also offers a Master of Business Administration degree with 6 different concentrations, a Master in Strategic Leadership, and a Master in Supply Chain Analytics. Most programs are 100% online and seated.

Responsibilities
  • Teach both online and seated undergraduate (and if approved, graduate) business courses as needed based on demand.
  • Course preparation, grading of exams and papers.
  • Meeting with students.
Required Qualifications
  • An earned Master's Degree or Doctoral degree in business related field;
  • A record of successful college-level teaching at the undergraduate level;
  • Knowledge of the application of technology to enhance teaching and learning;
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrate the ability to teach courses in management, marketing, entrepreneurship, strategy, accounting, economics, finance, analytic skills, and/or quantitative analysis at the undergraduate and graduate level.
  • Demonstrate the ability to teach courses in management, marketing, entrepreneurship, strategy, accounting, economics, finance, analytic skills, and/or quantitative analysis at the undergraduate and graduate level.
  • Ability to teach online and on-campus courses.
  • Related professional and/or managerial experience.
