Job Summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) provides essential patient-centered care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Responsibilities include assisting patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and emotional support. You will record vital signs and basic health information, collect non-invasive biological specimens, perform clerical tasks related to patient care, and maintain cleanliness in patient areas.

Qualifications

A basic knowledge of patient care principles, medical terminology, and equipment is expected. Certification and registration with the Minnesota Board of Nursing Assistant Registry is preferred, and certification is required if designated by law (i.e. Home Care).
