Position Summary

Ready to be a superhero in scrubs? As a Personal Care Partner II QMAP, you'll be the resident's daily dose of sunshine! You'll anticipate needs like a mind reader, report care needs like a top-notch detective, and supervise medications with the precision of a Swiss watch. Get ready to master the art of the 5 Rights - right resident, right dose, right time, right medication, and right route!

Your Exciting Daily Adventures

• Be the resident's personal fairy godparent, granting wishes for personal care needs and ADLs!
• Transform into a grooming guru, helping residents look and feel their best with bathing, dressing, and meal assistance.
• Channel your inner Sherlock Holmes to anticipate and identify resident care needs. No detail is too small for your eagle eyes!
• Become a master communicator, keeping the information superhighway flowing between you, your supervisor, and your peers.
• Don your safety cape and be the guardian of resident well-being. Your spidey senses will be on high alert!
• Play the role of a truth-teller, reporting any suspicions of abuse, neglect, or resource misappropriation faster than you can say superhero !
• Be the resident's personal health tracker, monitoring and documenting their condition like a pro blogger.
• Transform into a medication maestro, orchestrating the daily medication symphony for residents (all in accordance with state law, of course).
• Become the go-to person for all things medication-related, alerting the Director of any concerns faster than a speeding bullet!
• Channel your inner record-keeper, ensuring all documentation is as timely as a Swiss train schedule.
• Play the role of supply ninja, restocking medication carts and storage areas with the stealth of a cat burglar (but for good, of course)!
• Be the maintenance whisperer, completing work orders to keep everything in tip-top shape.
• Join the monthly gathering of superheroes (aka staff meetings) to save the world... or at least address resident and departmental needs!
• Be ready to don any cape necessary for other duties as assigned. Flexibility is your middle name!

Basic Qualifications & Experience

• Per the state of operation requirements, Medication certification; QMAP-A/L, Med Tech, Med Aide, Nurse Delegation
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
• One (1) year experience in some level of elder care preferred
• Proficient computer skills preferred
• Strong self-management and organization skills
• Strong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to handle competing deadlines, flexible and adaptable (Open to change).
• Ability to effectively handle difficult and sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

• Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
• Constant standing, walking, and grasping. Frequent stooping and reaching above shoulder heights, occasional sitting, crawling, kneeling, and squatting.
• May have exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases possible.
• Possible exposure to household chemicals.
• Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently during working hours.
• May be subject to frequent interruptions.
• Interacts with clients, family members and visitors frequently.
