We aim to support underserved and vulnerable communities across various counties. We are currently looking for a passionate part-time Dentist to enhance our team at our Poughkeepsie - Washington Street site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the dental team, ensuring effective operations and communication within the site.
• Perform root canal therapy on applicable teeth with the necessary skills.
• Conduct thorough periodontal exams for adult patients (25+) to diagnose periodontal diseases, and create effective treatment plans.
• Take impressions and models of jaws and teeth for dentures and crowns.
• Coordinate with other health service professionals to address complex patient needs.
• Extract diseased or hopeless teeth, ensuring patient comfort.
• Provide preventive dental counseling, including nutrition and oral hygiene evaluations.
• Diagnose cavities and collaborate with patients to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to perform comprehensive examinations and documentation in patient records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• D.D.S or D.M.D. from an accredited dental school.
• Valid New York State dental license.
• CPR/BLS Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree.
• Specialty board certification.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Compensation:

Part-time hourly rate: $87.31 - $95.49.
