Are you someone who enjoys tackling a variety of tasks and keeping things in top shape? If so, the City of Burlington is hiring a Part Time Morning Custodian at the Kernodle Senior Center. About us:The John Robert Kernodle Senior Center offers an array of activities for adults ages 55 and over. What you will do:The position is responsible for making sure the facilities are clean and safe in appearance. Work includes both indoor and outdoor spaces. The employee may be called upon to help assist the maintenance team with light maintenance duties at the facility. The general hours are Monday-Friday from 10:00 am 2:00 pm Examples of Duties Daily cleaning and stocking of restroom facilities. Daily sweeping of floors. Wiping down areas of facility to remove dust and debris. Table and chair set up and take down. Operating floor buffer and floor scrubber machine.
