Our client, a rising non-profit organization in the Chicagoland area, is seeking a Part-time Controller. This organization focuses on community education to raise awareness about domestic violence, emphasizing victim rights.

The Part-time Controller will oversee core accounting and reporting processes, ensuring financial duties are completed accurately and promptly. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude and strong business acumen, capable of handling new tasks and challenges in a fast-paced environment.

• Ensure timely processing of payables invoices
• Determine the level of plant location interaction on payables management
• Oversee outside agency payment communications, processing, and reporting standards
• Maintain records of electronic payments, both external and internal
• Organize historical invoices processed
• Apply strong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask
• Handle assigned accounting projects

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• CPA preferred
• Experience with NetSuite and SAP Concur preferred
