ANNOUNCEMENT Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for part-time instructors in the Community Health Worker program. Your application will be placed in a pool for review as part-time teaching assignments become available. POSITION DESCRIPTION Part-time/adjunct faculty are responsible for teaching the objectives of the course assigned, assessing student learning, and reporting student progress as required by the college and the Higher Learning Commission. QUALIFICATIONS
Meets the minimum instructor requirements: Associates degree in applied science, health science related field One (1) year professional experience in content area of course Teaching experience, preferred Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers, applicable software, and Internet - dependent on the needs of course delivery. STARTING PAY AND HOURS Salary varies based on educational level and number of units taught. WORK LOCATION The Community Health Worker program is offered at the Wyvetter Young East St. Louis campus and online.
