Part-Time Brand & Marketing Assistant - PILLOWPIA_PIANISSIMO : Job Details

Were a small but growing direct-to-consumer and wholesale brand based in Brooklyn. We create home goods + knitwear and work with incredible retail partners. As a lean team, everyone wears multiple hats, and were looking for a motivated assistant whos excited to dive in, learn quickly, and help keep our brand moving forward.

The Role

This is a part-time, entry-level position for someone who wants hands-on experience across many areas of running a brand. Think of it as a crash course in marketing, merchandising, product development, and small business operations. Youll work closely with the founder each week, tackling a list of projects and tasks that vary from the creative to the practical. If youre energetic, organized, and eager to learn, this role could be a perfect fit.

• Assist with marketing tasks (social media scheduling, email prep, influencer research, website updates)
• Help with merchandising projects (product photography organization, SKU updates, showroom/wholesale prep)
• Handle light operational tasks (ordering supplies, organizing samples/inventory, shipping small packages)
• Research projects as assigned (competitive analysis, trend reports, potential new retailers)
• Join weekly check-ins to review and prioritize the task list

• An energetic, curious, and proactive person who loves learning and problem-solving
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to follow through on small tasks with care
• Comfortable switching gears between creative, admin, and logistical projects
• Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive); bonus if youve dabbled in Canva, Shopify, Klaviyo, or social media tools
• Interest in marketing, product, or design this is a great launching pad for a future career in brand building

• Part-time: approx. 1015 hours/week, in-person in our Brooklyn office
• Compensation: hourly, based on experience
• Seniority level: Entry level
