We're looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you'll be a key part of our success by supporting the store leadership team in providing an excellent customer experience, ensuring that fellow fans can find the merchandise they love. You'll use your fandom knowledge to help train new recruits and support daily operations and sales targets.

• Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages repeat visits, showcasing your product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Support store operations by stepping in on the sales floor and assisting when needed.
• Open and close the store as required, demonstrating leadership and responsibility.
• Operate the register, process transactions, and utilize your fandom expertise to promote add-on sales and benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Communicate shortages or overages to your Store Manager.
• Understand store sales goals, KPIs such as UPT and ADT, and contribute to achieving them.
• Assist with planogram updates, including store layout, wall displays, fixtures, and merchandising.
• Share fashion and music trend insights with management and HQ partners.
• Work with Store Management to ensure store security and prevent theft.
• Help maintain organized stock rooms and a tidy store environment.
• Contribute to building a passionate, collaborative team to run your store effectively.
• Perform any other activities assigned by your Store Leader.

• At least 1 year of retail experience. A love for music and pop culture is a plus!
• Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and operational skills, with a drive to develop your team.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using approved equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay rate: $17 - $19.55 per hour. The final salary depends on education, location, experience, and other factors.
