Job Description: SUNY Broome Community College is seeking qualified applicants for part-time faculty (adjunct) teaching in our Criminal Justice and Emergency Services department. Applications for Adjunct Instructor positions are accepted on a continuous basis. Candidates are contacted and hired as opportunities arise, depending on the college's needs.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Creating Syllabus.
• Teaching under the guidance of the department chairperson.
• Helping students master course content.
• Assessing student learning outcomes.
• Utilizing current learning management system technology (Brightspace) in the performance of job duties.
• Maintaining standards of professional conduct and ethics.
• Fulfilling other duties as outlined in the Faculty contract.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree and significant work experience in a related field is required. A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Applicants should be comfortable in the learner-centered classroom and have a strong commitment to the community college mission.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship.
