Parks & Recreation Director - City of Pensacola Florida : Job Details

This is highly responsible professional and administrative work serving as Parks & Recreation Director of the City of Pensacola. The Mayor appoints the Parks & Recreation Director, with the consent of the City Council by an affirmative vote of a majority of City Council Members. The Parks & Recreation Department reports to the Citys Deputy City Administrator as delineated on the Citys Organizational Chart. The Parks & Recreation Director is responsible for the overall planning, development, coordination, and administration of the Citys parks, recreation facilities, resource centers and programs. Work includes the formulation of working policy and procedures in accordance with general policy directives of the City Administrator.
