Parking Manager - Huntsville Hospital Health System : Job Details

The Parking Services Manager plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates parking operations for HH Health Security Services Department. These operations include security, fire prevention, patient transport, courier services, and fleet services. Responsibilities encompass daily operations and managing the performance of department frontline leaders and other staff. The Manager must be a strong leader, providing guidance to enhance the protection of HH Health and ensure fair parking for staff and customers.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:

• Education/Certification: High School diploma or GED required. Degree in law enforcement or a business-related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Must obtain the following certifications within the specified timeframe:
• Heart Saver CPR certification (within 90 days)
• HR Management Series completed (within 12 months)
• IAHSS Basic, Advanced, & Supervisor credentials (within 12 months)
• CHPA or CPP certification (within 24 months)

Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years supervisory experience in a security, law enforcement, or parking operation. Healthcare setting experience is preferred.

Additional Skills/Abilities:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and adapting quickly. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential, with the ability to enforce policies assertively yet courteously. Basic computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets, are required.
