Compliance with the processing requirements of Chapter 215.422, F. S. is mandatory. This is moderately independent work providing visitor services, resource management, maintenance, administration, and protection of Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. This position is assigned to the wildlife care operation of the Park. Performs routine maintenance, water quality standards and cleaning of the Manatee pools to meet Park and USDA Standards. Performs wildlife husbandry, preventative maintenance and basic repairs to wildlife exhibits and related equipment. Dives as required. Oversee park rangers and volunteers who work within the Wildlife department on proper procedures and policies working with and around wildlife.
