Coordinator of Youth Evangelization & Discipleship

Job Description: Under the direction of the Pastor, the Coordinator of Youth Evangelization and Discipleship (CYED) is part of Holy Rosary's newly formed Catechesis and Evangelization Team that includes the Coordinator of Family Catechesis (CFC) and the Coordinator of Adult Catechesis (CAC). This team will work together to implement the pastoral letter of the Diocese of Crookston.

The Coordinator of Youth Evangelization and Discipleship is responsible for developing and implementing opportunities for middle and high school youth (6th – 12th grade) that help them encounter Jesus Christ and his Church through weekly catechetical sessions, small groups, youth gatherings, and retreats. The CYED is also responsible for collaborating with the CFC to develop and implement Confirmation preparation for youth and to accompany youth in the pre-Confirmation and post-Confirmation process.

The Catechetical Coordinator will manage the catechetical programs designed for children ages K through Grade 5; and middle school or high school students who are out of sequence for receiving the Sacraments. This role is under the direction of the Director of Evangelization. This is a full-time role and will require an individual to be onsite during the Wednesday evening sessions which last until 8PM and periodically supporting weekend catechetical activities. Candidate must have three-five years of experience in this or a like parish leadership role.

Job Description: Dynamic parish in Ft Myers seeks to fill the position of Youth Minister for the parish youth, grade 6-12 and young adult. We are a family-focused parish with a desire to form youth and provide opportunities for their parents, with the hope that our young people will be strong Catholics with confident faith and healthy prayer and Sacramental practices with their hearts set on eternal life with God.This is a 35-hours per week position with benefits and relatively flexible hours and salary based on experience. You would be joining a Faith Formation team of an existing Children's Minister and Parish DRE who are inventive and collaborative, and leading a program of around 200 students to include retreats, service, sacraments, and summer mission trips. Job Description: The Director of Family Faith Formation (DFFF) will be a full-time member of the parish's Pastoral Staff and will report to the Pastoral Associate. The DFFF will be responsible for a comprehensive parish faith formation ministry for families with children in grades PK-12. The mission of the DFFF is to help families encounter Jesus, grow in relationship with Him, and assist them in learning the Catholic Faith. The DFFF, in collaboration with other members of the Pastoral Staff, will lead the parish's catechetical, evangelization, and outreach efforts for families to assist this larger mission in conjunction with the Pastoral Plan of the parish. The Faith Formation team includes two additional part-time people. This position offers great opportunities to be creative, think outside the box, and grow ministries already in place in a collaborative environment.
