Parent Educator - Danbury Public Schools District : Job Details

Danbury Public Schools is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Parent Educator at the Family Resource Center located at Morris Street School. The Parent Educator will support families with young children by coordinating programs, building partnerships, and serving as a critical link between the school and the community. Key Responsibilities: Plan and lead weekly playgroups for families with young children Organize and coordinate family events and educational opportunities Collaborate with community partners to provide access to resources such as:ESL classes Parenting education Medical, social, and support services Serve as a liaison between families and schools/programs Participate in the Danbury Family-School Partnership Advisory Council Implement the Connecticut Framework for Family-School Partnerships Support families in developing knowledge of child growth and development Perform additional duties that promote strong school-family-community partnerships Qualifications: ...Educator, Partnership, School, Support
