Supplemental Healthcare is hiring Paraprofessionals to join our team and work alongside teachers to help students with special needs succeed— academically, socially, and emotionally.
Every day, you'll play a key role in creating a supportive, inclusive classroom environment where every student feels safe, capable, and valued.
$20-$22 an hour
Qualifications: (must have one of the following)
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Have completed at least 2 years of postsecondary study
- Completed an associate degree or higher
- Completed the PA Entry Level Credential of Competency
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children with special needs, physical/mental disabilities, and/or behavior management
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting students one-on-one or in small groups with classwork, communication, and daily routines
- Helping implement behavior plans and IEP goals with care and consistency
- Assisting students with special needs who may require help with mobility, personal care, or emotional regulation
- Creating a positive learning environment where all students can thrive
- Teaming up with teachers, therapists, and staff to make school a great place to be
- Celebrating small victories every single day
- Willingness to assist with physical or behavioral needs as required

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Maintain and improve existing applications
- Participate in code reviews and testing
- Document software specifications and processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or C++
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Contract Details:
This is a full-time position with a 12-month contract. The contract may be extended based on performance and project needs.
