Supplemental Healthcare is hiring Paraprofessionals to join our team and work alongside teachers to help students with special needs succeed— academically, socially, and emotionally.

Every day, you'll play a key role in creating a supportive, inclusive classroom environment where every student feels safe, capable, and valued.

$20-$22 an hour

Qualifications: (must have one of the following)

  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
  • Have completed at least 2 years of postsecondary study
  • Completed an associate degree or higher
  • Completed the PA Entry Level Credential of Competency
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children with special needs, physical/mental disabilities, and/or behavior management

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting students one-on-one or in small groups with classwork, communication, and daily routines
  • Helping implement behavior plans and IEP goals with care and consistency
  • Assisting students with special needs who may require help with mobility, personal care, or emotional regulation
  • Creating a positive learning environment where all students can thrive
  • Teaming up with teachers, therapists, and staff to make school a great place to be
  • Celebrating small victories every single day
  • Willingness to assist with physical or behavioral needs as required

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement software solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Maintain and improve existing applications
  • Participate in code reviews and testing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in software development
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, or C#
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Contract Details:

This is a full-time position with a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
