Are you a skilled paramedic with leadership experience and a passion for making a difference? UPMC Wellsboro is looking for a Paramedic Supervisor to lead our dedicated team in delivering exceptional emergency care.

Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.), including weekends and holidays.

What You'll Do
\n
As a Paramedic Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in both patient care and team leadership. Your responsibilities will include:
\n
\n- Advanced Emergency Care: Provide high-quality care as the lead medic on an ALS vehicle.
\n- Team Leadership: Oversee daily operations of the MTS Division during your shift and conduct annual evaluations for assigned crew members.
\n- Safe Vehicle Operation: Ensure the safe and professional use of corporate vehicles.
\n- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with ATS Coordinators, EMS Resources Managers, and other key stakeholders.
\n- Training & Development: Create and implement training programs and continuing education for staff.
\n- Public Safety Liaison: Build strong relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, and public safety entities.
\n- Professionalism & Communication: Promote a culture of excellence and streamline communication across MTS, ATS, and Starflight teams.

✅ Qualifications & Requirements
\n
Education & Experience:
\n
\n- High school diploma or equivalent required.
\n- Minimum of 1 year of EMS pre-hospital experience at the Advanced Life Support (ALS) provider level is preferred.
\n
\n
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
\n
\n- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 pounds.
\n- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
\n- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to any assigned base site.
\n
\n
Operational Requirements:
\n
\n- Must be eligible to receive medical command authorization from the Medical Director.
\n- Must successfully complete the prescribed orientation program, which includes classroom training.
\n- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment, manage multiple changing priorities, and operate specialized equipment.
\n

Licensure, Certifications & Clearances
\n
\n- Emergency Vehicle Operator (EMSVO) certification (can be obtained within 90 days of hire in North Central and Central Pennsylvania).
\n- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent – Required
\n- International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) or equivalent – Required
\n- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent – Required
\n- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
\n- Driver's License
\n- Emergency Vehicle Operator
\n- Paramedic
