Paralegal (Civil Litigation) - Hybrid We are seeking a full-time civil litigation Paralegal to join our New York, NY office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on diverse and complex insurance defense matters spanning auto, premises liability, and labor law.   • Your day begins with organizing and reviewing case files, ensuring everything is in place for attorneys to hit the ground running.
  • You'll draft and prepare pleadings, manage discovery requests, and coordinate subpoenas.
  • Throughout the day, you'll work closely with attorneys to summarize depositions, analyze documents, and keep cases on track with deadlines.

  • Feel confident navigating a fast-paced environment, staying organized and focused while managing competing deadlines.
  • A strong command of Microsoft Office along with proficiency in PDF software is essential.
  • Comfortable performing tasks like Bates stamping, combining or separating files, and editing PDFs.
  • Meticulous, self-motivated, and takes pride in producing high-quality, detail-oriented work.
  • Tech skills, and ability to juggle priorities will help drive our success.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus.
