Pantry Assistant, Beyond Hunger Food Pantry - CAMBA : Job Details

Assist in all aspects of the distribution of nutritional food packages to eligible clients, including, but not limited to, stocking shelves, assisting with deliveries, conducting intake and assessment, assisting clients in shopping at the pantry, etc. Assist with management of stock room inventory. Assist in food purchasing. Assist with packaging food items. Pick up food donations at a variety of locations. Assist in all aspects of food drives. Assist in all aspects of the produce link program (i.e., picking up and distributing vegetables). Assist in all aspects of the Homebound Pantry program. Assist with resource development and community relations. Assist with Food Stamp application process (i.e., Eligibility pre-screening to potential eligible, non-participating clients, follow up to ensure that eligible clients receive Food Stamps, etc).
