Palletizer Operator - Silgan Containers Corporation : Job Details

Adhere to all safety regulations and/or directives. Package product to required specifications. Operate can palletizer and package cans into pallets and boxes. Place sleeves in cartons or snakewrap on pallet as required. Manually load shells into equipment as required. Complete forms and reports as required, both manually and electronically. Assist Line Mechanics in basic repairs and preventive maintenance. Operate forktruck as required to assist Line Mechanics and fill in for Shipper/ Warehouser (Lift Truck Operator) when required. Perform misc./utility duties as needed (i.e. clean & maintain baler; snow removal at night)Maintain clean work area and perform other cleaning duties as assigned by Management. Assist in training other employees and Management Trainees as required. Attend training sessions as required. Exercise proper care and protection of company property. All other duties as assigne.
