Palletizer Oper. - Packing Dept. (Temporary) Regular work schedule is 3pm - 11pm with some extended daily hours and weekend work possible. Hours worked from 5pm - 6am Monday - Friday will receive a 15% shift premium. All hours worked on Saturday and Sunday will receive a 15% shift premium. Perform repairs on the machinery in the shipping department. Monitor the machinery and dust systems. Job Duties Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for food safety by following HACCP and Food Safety policies/procedures. Responsible for plant safety by observing persons entering your work area, asking if you can assist them, and reporting unauthorized persons to your supervisor. Attend training as required or approved by supervisor. Operate multiple palletizers (start, stop, clear jams, reset, keep product moving)change pallet stacking patterns, check product quality, communicate with other employees about problems, maintain sanitation of work area. Must be able to work standing up, climb ladders and stairs, read pack orders, add and subtract, lift up to 60# and read package labels. Education Requirements One year certificate from college or technical school; or High School Diploma or GED.
