Skills and Abilities Required: Must provide Criminal History background check and fingerprinting. High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). General knowledge of painting techniques. Ability to complete tasks quickly, efficiently and independently. Be able to follow instructions and follow through on assignments. Be self-motivated, able to work on several projects concomitantly. Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment. Ability to react resourcefully to varying conditions. Must follow rules of Oklahoma laws on lead paints and construction. Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Applicants or persons employed in this position must be able to perform the following tasks and functions which are fundamental to the purpose of the position. Seal, sand, prime and paint school buildings and equipment. Establish procedures for the safe operation of painting tools and equipment. Be on call to respond to emergencies. Other duties may be assigned.
