• Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and cleaning
• Select and mix paints, stains, and coatings to match color specifications
• Apply paint and other coatings to surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprayers
• Ensure proper ventilation and use of protective equipment while working
• Monitor surfaces during and after the application of paint to ensure an even coverage
