Paint Line OperatorResponsibilities

• Operating and Monitoring Machinery: Running and monitoring paint line equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operation, primarily applying coatings in an efficient manner to ensure quality.
• Equipment Maintenance: Checking, maintaining, and troubleshooting paint line equipment, and making necessary repairs.
• Paint Preparation and Mixing: Preparing and mixing paint and coatings according to specifications, ensuring the right consistency and color.
• Quality Control: Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, identifying and addressing any defects.
• Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries, wearing appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment).
• Work Area Maintenance: Keeping the work area clean and organized before, during, and after each shift.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of production and quality control measures.
• Collaboration: Working with other team members to achieve production goals and targets.

Qualifications and Skills

• Industrial Painting Experience
• Equipment Operation: Experience operating and troubleshooting paint application equipment, including spray guns, automated systems, and other relevant tools.
• Paint Knowledge: Understanding of paint formulations, application techniques, and finishing processes.
• Quality Control: Ability to identify defects, perform quality checks, and use measuring tools to ensure product quality.
• Basic Math and Measurement: Proficiency in using basic math and measurement tools to calculate quantities, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Technical Documentation: Ability to read and interpret technical documents like safety data sheets and production specifications.

• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to identify defects and ensure high quality.
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and others involved in the production process.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve production goals.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the production process.

Benefits/Compensation

• Full Time
• 7:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday-Friday. Overtime potential based on needs.
• Pay rate is $26.03/hr.
