Paint Assistant - Onin Staffing : Job Details

nin Staffing is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Paint Assistant . This position supports the painting department by preparing surfaces, mixing materials, maintaining equipment, and assisting painters with daily tasks. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with excellent growth potential for the right candidate.

Work Experience

• Previous experience in a painting or manufacturing environment is a plus
• Basic understanding of surface prep, paint mixing, and paint shop safety
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a physically active role
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, or masking as required
• Mix paint and other finishing materials following instructions or formulas
• Assist painters with application tasks and moving materials or equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of the paint area, tools, and supplies
• Set up and break down painting stations and equipment
• Follow all safety guidelines and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Report material needs or equipment issues to the supervisor
