Summary
Under the umbrella of the Business Intelligence department, Data Services is Broadway Across America's consulting package for venue partners who require analytical tools and reporting encompassing their entire business. The Data Services Manager will own the pipeline, from Discovery, Data Modeling, Quality Assurance, Report Design, to User Training and Ongoing Iteration. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a strong curiosity for data, a technical background in database tools, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead team members and partners through the Data Services pipeline: Discovery, Data Modeling, Quality Assurance, Report Design, User Training, Ongoing Iteration.
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of data, identifying and troubleshooting discrepancies or issues related to sales/customer/operational data feeds. Collaborate with third party technical experts to ensure smooth data flow and consistent reporting.
Ensure that data and insights are shared clearly and effectively with stakeholders. Work directly with presenting partners to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide actionable insights in areas including box office performance, ticket sales trends, and audience behavior. Generate custom reports and visualizations to facilitate decision-making.
Identify opportunities to improve data collection, reporting processes, and overall support for presenting partners. Provide recommendations to streamline workflows and enhance the effectiveness of partnership programs. Adapt previous bespoke projects to deliver comparable tools to partners who may use disparate systems.
Supervise the Business Intelligence Analyst in data engineering and visualization projects.
