Key Responsibilities
- Product Scanning & Tracking
- Scan all products into the WMS system upon receipt and before storage.
- Ensure pallets are scanned into their designated reserve or pick locations.
- Material Handling
- Operate electric pallet jack, stand-up reach truck, and sit-down forklift to move product safely and efficiently.
- Complete an average of 120 pallet moves per shift, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Inventory & Location Accuracy
- Verify pallet tags, product codes, and storage assignments match WMS records.
- Correct any mis-scanned or misplaced items promptly to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with supervisors, loaders, and drivers to coordinate workflow.
- Report issues (e.g., damaged product, equipment malfunctions, or inventory discrepancies) immediately to the supervisor.
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow all warehouse safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain proper certification for powered industrial equipment.
Qualifications
- Prior experience operating electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts (certification required).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining high accuracy.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiarity with WMS systems and barcode scanning technology preferred.
Performance Expectations
- Maintain a minimum productivity rate of 120 pallet moves per shift.
- Zero tolerance for unscanned or misplaced pallets.
- Active participation in safety and team initiatives.
Mid shift 11am-6:30pm / 5 days weekly.
