Packer Technician in Gluing - Night Shift (3 Day/12 Hour) - Southern Champion Tray : Job Details

The Packer Technician will support the Operator or Apprentice in safely setting up, maintaining, and operating the machine(s) to acquire quality product at the desired target speed of each run. They will also assist with defining problem statements when issues arise. The Packer Technician will feed product into the gluer as well as packing finished product into cases. Oversees efficient operation of the auto-packer machine. SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITY:Responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting the auto-packer, will assist the gluer operator in some portions of the gluer set-up. Setup, maintain, and operate pack assist, case sealer, labeler, and automation (Some equipment is specific to work location)Responsible for setting up, replenishing tape, and troubleshooting the case sealer.
