**PAY RATE:** $16.68 */HR*

**PLUS, SHIFT PREMIUM:** $0.15 0.25/HR

**SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:**

Monday Friday, 8 hour shifts. This is a 2nd shift position. Candidate will receive training on 1st shift. Must be willing and able to work weekends and overtime as required.

**Job Summary:**

Performs a wide variety of duties associated with the finishing process, by packing folding cartons manually, or off of a machine fed line.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

- Provide training for new Associates in the process.

- Inform the Glue Operators of any problems occurring on the line.

- Inform the Glue Operators when running short on supplies.

- Assist with clearing jam ups occurring on machine fed lines.

- Consult job ticket for proper packing instructions prior to starting a new job/shift.

- Capable of lifting 40 lbs.

- Backup other Associates on machine fed lines as needed to keep production going.

- Communicate instructions to other Associates/shifts.

- Participate in any tasks necessary to allow for continuous operation of the process.

- Follow all Plant Safety rules and maintain a safe working environment.

- Monitor the level of quality in the products being produced.

- Comply with the Consolidated Standards for Inspection Food Contact Manufacturing Facilities through AIB International.

**Additional Responsibilities:**

- Collect Statistical Process Control (SPC) Data as required.

- Participate in Continuous Process Improvement Activities as required.

**Qualifications:**

Basic math, reading and writing skills are required to perform this job.
