Packer Laborer - City of Louisville Kentucky : Job Details

You must have an active driver's license to be considered for this position. Summary Objective. The purpose of this position is to hand load waste, junk and trash into packers from thoroughfares. This class works under close supervision according to set procedures. Examples of Duties ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - The essential functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the class as necessary. Cuts grass and perform other grounds keeping functions. Performs custodial duties. Operates trucks and other motor vehicles. Operates small equipment and power tools. Loads junk and trash, white goods, tree limbs, bagged leaves, dirt, etc. from streets, alleys and vacant lots/structures by hand into packers. Operates rear-end loader compacting levels.
