A to Z Portion Control Meats, Inc. is hiring entry-level full-time and part-time Packers!

Objectives/Summary of Position: The primary goal of this position is the quick, smooth, and efficient packaging of frozen product.

Skills Required: Position requires gaining knowledge of product quality standards, finger dexterity, manual dexterity, and the ability to work quickly in a cool, damp environment.

Training Needed Annually:

• HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)
• SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures)
• GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Food Security and Food Safety
• Allergen Management

Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions of the Job:

• Keep workstation clean and keep edible products off the floor
• Rotate with other team members as directed
• Repeat process to ensure continuous smooth and efficient operations
• Operate equipment in a safe manner
• Wear all required PPE
• Maintain a good attitude toward all fellow team members
• Maintain an active interest in improving performance level

Actively maintain high personal sanitary measures by following the established guidelines:

• Maintain a good attendance record and report to work on time
• Perform related duties as apparent or assigned
• Demonstrate an active interest and positive safety attitude
• Demonstrate an active interest in producing quality products/services
• Report any safety, mechanical, or other problems occurring in the production line

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for extended periods of time
• Twist, bend, and carry up to 25 lbs. as needed

Workdays: Monday -- Friday (Saturdays when needed)

Hours: 40 hours/week (average)

Shift: 7:00 a.m. -- 4:00 p.m. (End times vary due to production demands)

Wage: $15.00 per hour Priority full-time hiring! Part-time could be 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or 11:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. End times are determined by production demands.
