Job Title: Packer
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Packers. This role requires you to work either on the 1st shift from 7 am to 3 pm or the 2nd shift from 3 pm to 11 pm, with varying schedules from Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday. Mandatory overtime on Saturdays is required, with every third Saturday off.
Responsibilities
Place finished products into cartons manually or using mechanical cartoners.
Place filled cartons into master corrugated boxes, tape them closed, and place them on the conveyor for freezing (weights range from 20 lbs. to 50 lbs.).
Participate in repacking products.
Rotate positions every 15 minutes.
Replenish rolls of wrap (approximate weight 45 lbs.) on the wrapper stand and handle roll changeovers.
Remove and replace boxes of stickers (approximate weight 22 lbs.) into mechanical stickers and assist during sticker jams.
Open cases of cartons (approximate weight 20 lbs.) and fill carton magazines to the proper level.
Essential Skills
Experience in packing, picking, packaging, and general labor.
Ability to handle loading, unloading, stacking, and labelling tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Chemical Safety Training is required before handling chemicals.
Attendance of GMP, HACCP, and Allergen training is required.
Compliance with all GMP requirements is mandatory.
Compliance with all Personal Protective Equipment requirements as defined by plant procedures is required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35000.00 - $36000.00/yr.
