Packer - Cardinal Services : Job Details

Cardinal Staffing is currently looking for a 1st shift packer in Dundee, MI. Shift is 6am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. Metal stamping facility in Dundee MI is seeking entry level packing associate - Monday thru Friday 10-hour shifts, occasional Saturday 6 hours.

The position is responsible for packaging by hand a wide variety of products and materials while ensuring safety, accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Requirements:

• Counts, measures, and weighs materials and products
• Removes defective products or materials, placing them in specified areas for handling
• Constructs and seals boxes using hand tape gun
• Examines containers/boxes, products, and materials for quality control and ensures packing requirements are met
• Applies labels to containers, bags, boxes or products
• Enters packing, order and product information into inventory system or other documents
• Stacks boxes on pallets
• Always organizes work center for orderliness
• Willingness to share new ideas to make processes better
• Willingness to work in a team environment
• Regular attendance is required
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
