Packer & Helper - Taylor Corporation : Job Details

Taylor Print & Service Solutions, a Taylor Corporation Company, is looking for a Packer & Helper to assist the press operator in packaging and moving completed products and orders at their Dallas, TX facility. This is an entry level position with room to grow and train. Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting the operator and packaging to specifications per customer work order
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area and preparing for the next user
• Producing products to specifications by following all processes and procedures

Your shift is 3rd shift, 7:00pm - 7:00am, three days one week and four the next with alternating weekends.

You must have:

• Attention to detail
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform physical requirements
• Ability to perform repetitive motion
• Ability to work as a team member, follow verbal and written instructions, and learn to apply new procedures and methods
• Ability to operate pallet jack and other production equipment
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication
• Ability to read a ruler
• Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude

Requirements within this position include:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We would also prefer:

• High School Diploma or the equivalent
• One year experience in production or as an equipment operator
• Good color discernment
