Packer - 3rd shift - AtWork! : Job Details

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Packer for plastic manufacturing facility in the Houston, TX area. As a Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality packaging of our products according to company standards. This position requires efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Pack plastic products into designated containers or boxes according to specified packaging standards.
• Count, inventory completed products and package correct amounts for each customer order.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards before packing.
• Label containers accurately with required information such as product codes, lot numbers, and dates.
• Monitor packaging supplies and inform the supervisor when supplies are low.
• Maintain a clean and organized packing area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding packaging, safety, and quality.

3rd Shift 11:00pm - 7:30am

Qualifications:

• Previous packaging experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in a packing or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Able to stand for long periods and able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Basic mathematical skills for counting and recording inventory.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
