Packaging Technician - PrideNow : Job Details

Job Summary:

This role is ideal for a recent graduate interested in packaging design, testing, and sustainability within a fast-paced commercial environment. The Packaging Technician will support packaging specification updates, regulatory documentation, and sustainability reporting. They will also assist in material testing, line trials, and identifying improvements in cost, performance, and environmental impact. The position offers exposure to cross-functional collaboration, technical documentation, and industry standards.

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative, detail-oriented approach.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Science, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of packaging materials (plastic, glass, metal, paperboard); food industry experience is a plus.
• Understanding of sustainability, regulatory requirements, and packaging compliance practices.
