Job Title: Packaging Technician I Location: Onsite - Marlborough, MA 01752 Duration: 12-Months+ W2 Contract (High potential for extension based on performance and business needs)Pay Rate: $26/hour (W2)Job Summary: The Packaging Technician I will support packaging engineering activities related to product packaging and labeling.

• This role involves executing tests, documenting results, and assisting in the preparation of technical documentation.
• The technician will work closely with Packaging Engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure packaging solutions meet quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute assigned tasks to support packaging project deliverables.
• Organize, coordinate, and execute packaging design tests under engineering supervision.
• Support development and revision of test methods.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation to communicate test results.
• Assist engineering teams in sourcing materials, coordinating services, and collecting test data.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in a technical, laboratory, or quality-related role.
• Associate degree (AA/AS) or technical certification preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in packaging or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
• High attention to detail and strong technical aptitude.
• Familiarity with packaging components (e.g., film, Tyvek, cartons, labels, corrugated materials, pouches).
• Experience with visual inspections of packaging materials.
• Understanding of ASTM/ISTA packaging test standards preferred.
• Knowledge of medical device packaging, FDA regulations, quality systems, and sterilization is a plus.
• Proficient in basic computer tools (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to lift boxes up to 30 lbs.
