A packaging company in the Los Angeles, California area is seeking an experienced Packaging Project Manager to lead packaging projects from start to finish. This full-time, in-office role is responsible for coordinating timelines, deliverables, and communication across internal teams and clients to ensure smooth execution of packaging programs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including milestones and deadlines
- Delegate tasks to the appropriate team members and monitor progress
- Ensure all packaging deliverables meet client specifications and quality standards
- Provide regular project updates to clients, internal teams, and leadership
- Support team members and facilitate clear communication across departments
- Conduct quality control reviews throughout the project lifecycle
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Align project outcomes with overall client and company objectives
Qualifications:
- Experience in beauty, cosmetics, skincare, or personal care packaging is required
- Strong background in project management, preferably in a packaging or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with expediting and component inspection processes
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
