The Ross-Carlisle Group has been tasked to locate The Packaging Program Manager for a leading manufacturing packaging company located in Texas. This position is direct hired and full time and reports directly to the company's CTO.
Job Duties:
The selected individual is responsible for managing the development and execution of complex single and multi-material packaging solutions projects from conception to completion including designing, developing, and testing within large appliances, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, pharmaceuticals, and related products.This position will have leadership responsibilities within the Innovation team and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that packaging meets the requirements of our customers, is cost-effective, and meets regulatory compliance.The position will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Qualifications:
Must have a B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited college or university; with a minimum of 10 – 12 years of relevant experience.Must have strong knowledge of packaging materials and manufacturing processes, thermal and mechanical analysis of structures; experience with packaging testing and analysis and excellent project management skills, knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for packaging.The successful candidate should have specific experience in packaging design in the transportation/industrial sectors; that is, appliances, furniture, or HVAC.Experience in large appliances is a strong plus. Travel is up to 40%.Must be willing to relocate to Texas.Attractive six figure salary and competitive benefits package.
